Quest Federal Credit Union has received several notices from fellow members that a potential MasterCard/VISA card scam phone call has been making the rounds. There is no issue with your card(s) and Quest will never ask you for information over the phone unless you have initiated the call to Quest and only then we’ll verify with information we have, not request of you. It has been brought to our attention that members may be receiving phone calls from an automated call system stating that they are with the IRS. The automated message suggests that you are part of a lawsuit and would you like to speak to a representative. To our knowledge, this is a scam phone call and should be treated with serious consideration. It is highly recommended that you DO NOT PROVIDE any personal information until you have verified that you are speaking with an actual IRS official.
