From the CEO – October 2021

From the CEO’s Desk

Hello, my name is Matt Jennings and I am the Chief Executive Officer of Quest Federal Credit Union.

Hello, my name is Matt Jennings, and I am the Chief Executive Officer of Quest Federal Credit Union and I hope this letter find you enjoying this beautiful early fall weather.

In the photo below, these are just a sampling of the thank you notes and photos that I have the pleasure to receive on behalf of Quest for our support of the Logan, Hardin, and Wyandot County fairs. I am pleased to announce that during the 2021 fair season that we supported 205 4-H and FFA exhibitors in the amount of $46,378.62. Some may ask why we support the fair sales so heavily? The answer is simple. We can use our marketing budget for fancy ad campaigns, or we can invest those dollars into the youth of our communities which equates to investing in our future. I have read countless letters and thank you notes from exhibitors that plan to use the funds for future projects, for their first car, down payment on a house, or to further their education. All of these are valid and strong reasons to make sure that our kids have a great start into adulthood and beyond. Quest is proud of our years of support, and we look forward to seeing you at next year’s fair!

The first three quarters of the year are in the books and Quest, thanks to our loyal member/owners, continues to grow and thrive during very difficult times. We are also working hard to make sure that our members that are struggling with employment issues or supply chain disruption are staying on track and keeping their credit intact. If any one of our member/owners is having trouble, it is part of our mission to help, please reach out to any staff member and we will get you in contact with fully trained and qualified staff that can assist you.

Year to date we have had strong loan and member growth; our assets are stable at $176m and delinquency continues to trend below our peer average. Thank you to our Board and our Staff for their hard work and dedication to make Quest successful. As we close out the year, I will be sure to keep you posted on our financial performance and will look forward to seeing you at our Annual Meeting, which is scheduled for March 19th, 2022, at the Hardin County Armory. Stay tuned to more details on the meeting after the new year.

In closing, thank you for your patronage. The Board of Directors and Staff would like to wish you all the best for a safe, healthy, and successful fall season. We view Quest as one big family and we are here to help, so if there is anything that we can do to make your quality of life better, do not hesitate to ask! Stay safe, take care of family, neighbors, friends and yourselves. Thank you and I welcome any comments, suggestions or questions from our member/owners. I can be reached by calling the Main Office or via email at mjennings@questfcu.com. Thank you for your loyal patronage to Quest and I challenge you to Explore the Possibilities!
