Temple Elected To HCCBA Board

Kenton, OH — The Board of Directors and Staff of Quest Federal Credit Union would like to thank Brian Sprang, Chief Information Officer (right) for his nine years of dedicated service to the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance. Brian began his career with Quest in 2014 and shortly thereafter joined the Board of Directors of HCCBA, serving in roles ranging from Treasurer to Chairman. “Jordan Temple, Executive Vice President of Operations for Quest will be replacing Brian, and we congratulate Jordan on his election to the Board and wish him all the best in his tenure as a Board Member” stated Matt Jennings, CEO of Quest. Temple (left) began his career with Quest in 2016 as a Vice President of Branch Operations and recently was promoted to his Executive Vice President position.

All member/owners are invited to attend the Quest Federal Credit Union Annual Meeting to be held on March 16th, 2024. The meeting will be held at the Memorial Park Golf Course in Kenton, OH. Breakfast will be served at 9:00am with the meeting to follow.

Please join us as we review the achievements of 2023 and discuss the future of Quest Federal Credit Union.

2024 Scholarship Program

Quest Federal Credit Union recognizes, rewards, and supports the pursuit of higher education in our community. Quest is making available nine (9) $500 scholarships for those high school students who will be continuing their education following graduation.

ELIGIBILITY

  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Will attend an 2- or 4-year accredited university, college, or technical school
  • Students in Hardin, Logan, or Wyandot counties are eligible, also if you reside outside these counties, but have a parent or grandparent that is a Quest member you are eligible.
The eligibility requirements have changed from the 2016 program. If you have questions about eligibility, please DO NOT HESITATE to contact us and ask! Email us at questadmin@questfcu.com

SELECTION PROCESS

  • Your application will be evaluated by the Quest Federal Credit Union Scholarship Committee and you will be notified no later than May 31st, 2024

Once again this year, Quest Federal Credit Union is pleased to award the teachers of Hardin, Logan, and Wyandot Counties with Teacher of the Year Awards!

Use the survey links below to nominate your Teacher of the Year candidates. One deserving teacher from each school district will be selected for these awards to show appreciation for the dedication and hard work put towards educating our leaders of the future. PRESS RELEASE: Wies Promoted

Kenton, OH — Brooklyn Wies of Dola, Ohio has recently been promoted to the Vice President of Branch Operations for the Ada location of Quest Federal Credit Union. Brooklyn graduated from Kenton High School and shortly thereafter obtained degrees from the University of Northwestern Ohio with a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration and an associate degree in applied business. After several years in the healthcare field, Brooklyn chose a new career path and began working for Quest. As a very adaptive learner, Brooklyn started as a Member Service Representative, transitioned to the Assistant Member Service Supervisor and then swiftly took on the duties of Member Service Supervisor. “Brook has blazed a trail into her new role, learning rapidly, showing tremendous leadership abilities and providing outstanding service to our members. Brook is a strong yet compassionate person and will do an excellent job managing our staff and serving our Ada area members” stated Matt Jennings, CEO of Quest.

Brooklyn is married to Tyler, and they have a young son, Kyson.

PRESS RELEASE: Stalder Promoted

Kenton, OH — Steven Stalder of Kenton, Ohio has recently been promoted to the Vice President of Branch Operations for the Jacob Parrott location of Quest Federal Credit Union. Steven graduated from Kenton High School in 2018 and began his Quest career as a summer intern in a Member Service Representative role. Steven showed great potential immediately and when he came back the next summer, became a Loan Officer Intern. Steven worked in this role for summer and winter breaks for several years while he pursued his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Ohio State University and upon his graduation in 2022, was hired as a Loan Officer full time at Quest. “Steven has been a very valuable contributor in the loan department and when this opportunity presented itself, he was an outstanding candidate to take this step into management and lead one of our busiest locations. Steven has been a quick study in every area he has worked in the credit union, and we are certain that he will excel in his new role for Quest and its members” stated Matt Jennings, CEO of Quest.

Steven is involved in the community as a Board Member of the Hardin County Historical Museum, he was a 2023 graduate of Hardin Leadership and now serves on their Steering Committee. Steven is a member of the Kenton First Methodist Church and is married to Olivia (Brown) and they reside in Kenton.

Kenton, OH — Jordan Temple of Kenton, Ohio has recently been promoted to the Executive Vice President of Operations position of Quest Federal Credit Union. Jordan began his career as an Operations Manager for a logistics firm and worked in that capacity for several years until the time of joining Quest as the Vice President of Branch Operations for our Jacob Parrott location. Jordan has served in that role since 2016 and has taken on multiple tasks including ACH, payroll processing, domestic and foreign wire transaction, leading a team to analyze financial performance of payroll groups and managing the staff. “Jordan has mastered the operational thought process that it takes to manage the staff of six different branch locations and although he came to us with strong logistics ability, his skill set has become exceptional in that area which will be a large portion of this new role” stated Matt Jennings, CEO of Quest.

Jordan is a lifelong resident of Hardin County, he serves as Treasurer of the Ohio Health Hardin Memorial Hospital Board, Chair of the Hardin Memorial Finance Committee, Board Member of the Hardin County Family YMCA, Memorial Park Golf Club Board Member, Kenton CIC Trustee, Kenton City Schools Education Foundation Trustee, Hardin County United Way Board Member and serves as a volunteer for the Kenton Church of the Nazarene. Jordan is married to Kiley (Rawlins), and they have two children, Corbyn and Mae.

Kenton, OH — Kayla Richardson of Harrod, Ohio has recently been promoted to the Executive Vice President of Compliance position for Quest Federal Credit Union. Kayla began her career with Quest in 2014 and started as a part time Member Service Representative, worked her way up to the Member Service Supervisor role, assisted in the collection department and then transitioned to a Call Center Coordinator position. In 2021 Kayla was promoted to the Vice President of Branch Operations for our Ada location and has also worked in the compliance department and most recently, received her Credit Union Compliance Expert certification through CUNA Management School. “Kayla has seen the credit union from many different angles in her time, serving members, managing staff and ensuring that our account documentation, policies and procedures are in accordance with federal rules and regulations. She is very skilled in multiple areas, and we are confident that she will maintain the highest level of compliance possible for the benefit of the members of Quest” stated Matt Jennings, CEO of Quest.

Kayla is married to James, and they have a young daughter, Parker, and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Kayla is a graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School and as mentioned, has achieved Compliance Certification from the Credit Union National Association Management School.

PRESS RELEASE: Stahler Promoted

Kenton, OH — Krane Stahler of Kenton, Ohio has recently been promoted to the Chief Accounting Officer position of Quest Federal Credit Union. Krane began his career after graduating from Ohio Northern University in 2008 as a public accountant for an area audit and tax accounting firm and after five years in that role, started his Quest career in 2014. Krane joined Quest as the Assistant Vice President of Lending and later became the Senior AVP of Lending, onto the Vice President of Consumer Lending, and mostly recently promoted to his new position as of January 1st, 2024. “Krane has a unique background of accounting, finance, and lending experience that has served him well as he has progressed through his career. We are excited to watch Krane take on this new challenge and mold the accounting department into his model for continued, long term success” stated Matt Jennings, CEO of Quest.

Krane is a family man that is heavily involved in his community, serving as a youth sports coach, a volunteer for the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and as a Trustee for the Knights of Columbus. He is married to Elizabeth “Liz”, and they have four children, Kaelynn, Brantley, Claire, and Cameron.
