Small Business Financial Assistance
Quest Federal Credit Union would like to provide the following update to our Small Business Members as it relates to the COVID-19 and the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act).
To our business members – we hope you are all healthy and well. We would like to keep you updated on our pursuit to provide financial assistance to some of those hardest hit by the pandemic. Quest has been approved as an SBA Lender and are awaiting our credentials to access the system and begin processing applications. WE HAVE NO TIMELINE FOR WHEN WE WILL BE CREDENTIALED SO WE ARE REMINDING ALL OF OUR BUSINESS MEMBERS THAT IF THE NEED IS URGENT OR YOU PREFER NOT TO WAIT, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO APPLY WITH ANOTHER LENDER. This will have no effect from our perspective on future lending relationships with our business members, we simply want to ensure that your needs are met.

I listened in on a call today with the Treasury, SBA and our federal regulator, the NCUA. To date, there have been $71B ($349B available) in loans processed through the SBA-PPP. That’s great that the system is working and the cash is beginning to flow.
Quest is now aligned with our 3rd party underwriter to assist us in streamlining the application process ONCE WE ARE CREDENTIALED. There is a system in place for Shannon Allmon to register you in our system and begin the process. We are currently in the hurry up and wait mode for our credentials but while we wait, we are making absolutely positive that once we are live we will hit the ground not just running but sprinting on your behalf.
Please know that we will be processing applications with the following priority;
- Existing business members with open and active accounts that have a Quest Loan. We have data on file to assist you and this speeds the process so we can move to #2
- Existing business members with open and active accounts but no loan. We will be collecting data through a secure portal, no need to send to us via email
- New or non-members, we will need to work through establishing a business account, gathering data through our secure portal, etc.
