FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Forest, OH – April 16, 2021 – The members of UAP Employees Federal Credit Union have voted to merge their balance sheet and memberships into Quest Federal Credit Union. A vote was held with a final tabulation taking place on April 15th at the UAW Local 1033 Union Hall. The merger effective date will be April 30th, 2021.

The Board of Directors of UAP FCU approached the Board of Quest in the fall of 2020 about the potential of partnering in a merger to enhance offerings to their members. The Quest Board of Directors welcomed the opportunity to bring the UAP members into the Quest family. Board President Sarah Wirbel stated “We are very happy to have the opportunity to bring the UAP members into our credit union and we look forward to serving their needs as we move forward together”. Quest Federal Credit Union offers a full line of financial products and services including loans of all types, mobile and online banking, instant issue card services and many more. “I believe that the UAP members will see a tremendous benefit by becoming members of Quest. Not only do we offer multiple branch locations across the region but we have a large network of ATM’s and shared branching locations that make banking easy and free just about anywhere you work or travel. Member benefits and keeping the cost of those benefits as low as possible is at the heart of every decision we make and I am pleased that we can now offer those same benefits to our new UAP members” commented Matt Jennings, CEO of Quest.

UAP Employees FCU is located in the Triumph Thermal plant in Forest. Quest Federal Credit Union was founded in 1969 as the Kenton Rockwell Standard Federal Credit Union and from that time has grown to 15,000 members and $175m in assets serving a three county area including Hardin, Logan and Wyandot counties.
