From the CEO’s Desk
Hello, my name is Matt Jennings, and I am the Chief Executive Officer of Quest Federal Credit Union, and I hope this letter finds you all well.
Fall is my favorite season of the year, with the leaves changing, the temperature cooling and winter right around the corner, I wanted to wish you all a safe and happy fall season.
Quest announced in July, the groundbreaking of our latest branch in Carey, Ohio. The weather, although very hot and dry for our farmers, has been ideal for construction. The branch is coming along nicely, and the contractors are doing a great job and are ahead of schedule. Our planned opening is early Q1 of next year, but I will not be surprised if it isn’t sooner than that. I will keep our member owners up to date and we look forward to inviting you all to our grand opening in the near future.
A quick financial update, Quest currently holds $213m in assets with $147m in loans. Our net worth ratio is at a healthy 9.210% with year to date return on assets of 0.729%, which is very strong. We have 16,817 member owners and are looking forward to adding to this total as we finish 2025 strong and head into a new year.
November 4th will mark our launch of MFA or Multi-Factor Authentication for our online banking solution. We pride ourselves in maintaining a strong physical and digital security stance not just for our operations but for our member owners protection as well. Although this may take a few logins to adjust to, ultimately it is the safest way for Quest to protect your online banking security. If you haven’t already, please call or check in with one of our branches and make sure that your contact information is up to date and ready for this very necessary measure to take effect.
If you have not already, please check out our Exploration Podcast series which you can find on our website or by visiting the podcast app on your smart phone and searching Quest Exploration. We have built a robust library covering many topics that you may find of interest or that can be used for self help for such things as online banking, learning how to apply for loans, student loans and much more.
In closing, thank you for your patronage, and the Board of Directors and Staff would like to wish you all the best. We view Quest as a big family, and we are here to help! Thank you and I welcome any comments, suggestions or questions from our member owners. I can be reached by calling the Main Office or via email at mjennings@questfcu.com. Thank you for your loyal patronage to Quest and I challenge you to Explore the Possibilities!
